Practical Exam:
These materials will help you prepare for your practical exam (part of your mid-term exam) scheduled for 11-5-2013. The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) for conducting any of the tests for health-related components of fitness, exercise test interpretation, completion of informed consent or pre-test procedures, completion of health history, risk factor assessment and risk stratification are all fair game for your practical exam. This information will also be covered on the written portion of your mid-term exam. This will complete the exercise testing material for EXS 145. The second-half of the quarter will be dedicated to exercise test interpretation and exercise prescription. Your final exam will be cumulative and is scheduled for 12-2-2013. At this time you will cover the KSAs related to risk factor assessment and stratification, exercise testing for health-related fitness, exercise test interpretation, counseling and goal-setting, exercise prescription, progression, reassessment and quality improvement.
